1000 Things To Do

‘Sir, when a man is tired of London he is tired of life, for there is in London all that life can afford.’ – Samuel Johnson (1709-1784)
I lived abroad for 6 years and when I came back to London in 2007, I always planned to leave again. I’m what you’d call a jaded Londoner. I live in one of the most exciting cities in the world and have spent most of the last few years figuring out how to leave.
Well enough! I’m not saying I’ll be here forever, but I am going to make the most of London while I’m here.
With this in mind, I’ve decided to work my way through the Time Out’s “1000 Things to do in London” – which range from run of the mill to weird and wonderful – and give a personal and honest account of my experiences.
I hope it inspires Londoners and visitors (and me) to appreciate this city a little more.
